Q. I am trying to edit a Word file but it will not let me?
A. To edit a Word file you must select edit mode from the Options menu.

Q. I have a MS Word *.doc file that I tried to open and Quickword is giving me an error that my file is “Not a valid office document”. What does that mean, and what is wrong with my file?
A. This usually means you have actually are trying to open a RTF (rich text format) file that is “posing” as a Word file by having a *.doc extension. If you will open the file up into Word and perform a Save As function to save it specifically as a Word document, you will be able to open it. Note: Wordperfect creates *.doc files fit in this category, as they are really RTF files.

Q. How do I enter a return or other punctuation?
A. To enter a return with the phone’s keypad, press “*” and select the return symbol or other desired symbol.

Q. My question isn’t answered, how can I get help?
A. Send an email thoroughly describing your problem to
